Doorslam are pleased as punch to welcome Marita Davies who played Rosa in The Underwood and stage managed The Massacre at Paris into the company as an official co-owner. Marita is a talented and versatile performer and technician who'll be proving her mettle when she co-produces Inside the Island in 2009.

Emily Collett is back on board as the designer praised as "delectable" by the Herald Sun for her costumes for The Massacre at Paris.
MCV called his lighting "dramatic," we just call him Michael Jewel. His design for The Massacre at Paris can only be beaten by his lighting design for Inside the Island.
The amazing Sarah Walker, Photographer from The Underwood has been hard at work already snapping the publicity images for Inside the Island which will be featured in all our publicity images - The lady is a genius.

Auditions for this co-op will be early January to begin rehearsals on the 2nd February 2009.

Cast and Crew Needed
After the success of Vanessa Cole's 2008 production of her new play The Underwood, Doorslam are coming back bigger and better in 2009, with the adapted script being turned into a feature film! To be produced by founding dean of Victoria College of the Arts and Playbox Theatre, Peter Oyston.
